How to use:

• Before first use, rinse the cotton pad under running water, then place it in a bowl or cup of hot water for about 1 minute so that it is completely covered.

• Remove the fluff and let it dry on a special Chasen stand.

• Before each use, it is recommended to soak it for a few seconds in warm water to reduce stiffness and extend its lifespan.

• After adding the Matcha powder and water, mix in a back-and-forth or M/W motion, without pressing on the bottom or sides of the bowl.

Maintenance and precautions

• Bamboo is a fibrous material and absorbs moisture; proper drying is essential.

• After each use, rinse the cotton swab in a bowl of clean water, using the same movements as when preparing it, changing the water until it is completely clean.

• Dry the cotton wool on a special stand to maintain its shape, then store it in a dry, well-ventilated space.

• Do not store wet cotton wool in enclosed spaces.
