These parasites feed on human blood. Head lice and nits (lice eggs) are often found behind the ears, along the hairline, and on the nape of the neck, as these areas are warm and dark. The color of a louse can vary from sandy to almost black. After feeding, they turn dark red. An adult head louse is 2-4 mm long. Nits are barely 1 mm long and white. Instructions for use:
