Macrogol is a medical device in powder form for the preparation of an oral solution, used for the symptomatic treatment of constipation.

Intended use of the device
Macrogol is a medical device that supports intestinal motility and facilitates proper bowel evacuation, thus combating constipation and preventing the formation of fecal masses (hardened fecal masses).

For adults and children from 6 months of age.

Instructions for use
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 to 8 single-dose sachets per day.
Children aged 6 months to 12 years: 6 to 10 kg: 1 single-dose sachet per day; 10 to 15 kg: 1–2 single-dose sachets per day; 16 to 20 kg: 2–3 single-dose sachets per day; 21 to 43 kg: 3–4 single-dose sachets per day.

The dose should be adjusted (increased or decreased) according to the individual response to treatment, in order to obtain regular and soft stools. The maximum dose required does not usually exceed 4 sachets per day. The powder should be dissolved in water or another drink (60 ml for each single-dose sachet) and consumed immediately after preparation. In the case of administration of the minimum dose (1 single-dose sachet per day), it is recommended to use the product in the morning. For higher doses, the administration should be divided between morning and evening. If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, consult a doctor. Composition
The Macrogol medical device contains 14 single-dose sachets; each sachet contains 5 g of macrogol 3350 in powder form for the preparation of an oral solution.
It does not contain gluten or lactose.
It has a neutral taste.
