How do the main ingredients work?

PROBIOTICS: Deactivated bacteria from the Lactobacillus family (a major component of the lactic acid bacteria group). These probiotics are extremely gentle on the skin and help support the protective barrier of the microbiome.

PREBIOTICS: A blend of ultra-soft fibers and sugars that nourish the skin's good bacteria, thus supporting the skin barrier.

LACTIC ACID: Lactic acid, the gentlest form of AHAs, helps the skin achieve its optimal pH balance, provides intense hydration, and leaves the skin appearing smoother. Gallinée uses a slow-release form that is also suitable for sensitive skin.
