Although SAMe was discovered as early as 1952, its significance for adrenaline, serotonin, and histamine metabolism has only been known for a few years. The abbreviation SAMe stands for S-adenosyl-L-methionine, a substance that plays a central role in the metabolism of the amino acid methionine. L-methionine is an essential amino acid, meaning it cannot be produced by the body itself and must be obtained through food.
SAMe is produced through a reaction with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and is important for numerous detoxification processes in the body as well as for enzyme metabolism. As a methyl group donor, SAMe influences adrenaline, serotonin, and histamine metabolism and is also required for the processing of fats, the so-called lipid metabolism, and as a neurotransmitter.

Instructions for use:

Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of water. Ideally with a main meal.
Do not take if you have manic-depressive illness (bipolar disorder).
