Honeydew Honey is the iron rich honey and has the most natural antibiotics. Used in case of inflammation of the body and its reduced immunity, it supports the functioning of the nervous system. It has antiseptic and expectorant properties and has a beneficial effect on the heart. Recommended for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, urinary system and joints.

There are two species of honey bee in Poland; this is the so-called leaf rose (usually from lime trees) and coniferous rose. Honey is collected by bees from the secretions of insects that parasitize the leaves of these trees: (aphids or scales), mixed with the cellular juice that drains as a result of the insect sting.

Honey contains many different substances that support the treatment of respiratory diseases. Honey from conifers is dark in color, from rotten green to brown to almost black. It is characterized by a specific, mild, slightly resinous taste. They are usually not very sweet and may have a slightly sour or bitter aftertaste. What distinguishes it from nectar honey is its higher viscosity and density and its higher content of nitrogen compounds, minerals, dextrins, enzymes, organic acids and antibiotic substances. In Poland, fir and spruce honey predominates. The crystallization of honey from conifers is uneven. It usually separates into solid and liquid parts.

Please note that honey does not appear every year. In some regions of Poland it appears once every few years and that is why honey honey is one of the most expensive honeys in Poland.

Fresh rose is light in color, then darkens under the influence of light and oxygen.
