Xonrid topical gel for radiation therapy dermatitis 75 ml
Description
XONRID TOPICAL GEL FOR RADIOTHERAPY DERMATITIS
DescriptionTopical gel for the prevention and treatment of skin symptoms such as erythema, stinging, burning sensation and itching, due to radiotherapy or other causes.
Applied to the affected skin area, Xonrid forms a protective film, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and increases hydration.
Xonrid promotes the healing process by restoring the physiological hydration levels of damaged skin areas.
Xonrid can be applied to affected areas, including skin folds and creases, whether or not there is minor trauma or abrasion.
How to use
Use on clean skin, three times daily or as directed by your doctor.
Apply with clean hands directly to the affected areas and massage gently to obtain a thin, even layer.
In case of radiotherapy, Xonrid can be applied for 2 or 3 days before the scheduled sessions.
Xonrid can be applied after each session and at the end of each course of radiotherapy for the duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
Do not use immediately before radiation therapy session.
The skin must be perfectly clean before each session.
To remove any remaining Xonrid, gently wash the area with water only before your radiotherapy session.
