PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY: Decongestants and antiallergics.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 100 ml contain 0.05 g of tetryzoline hydrochloride.

EXCIPIENTS: Eye drops in bottles: boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, methylene blue, water for injections to taste. Eye drops in single-dose containers: glycerol, boric acid, sodium borate, polysorbate 80, water for injections to taste.

INDICATIONS: Irritation, burning, redness, itching of the eye due to allergic or physical causes (excessive exposure to sunlight or snow or to dazzling headlights when driving at night or to dust in the workplace, etc.).

CONTRAINDICATIONS/SIDE EFFECTS: Hypersensitivity to the components or to other closely related chemical substances. It should not be used in subjects with glaucoma or other serious eye diseases and in children under three years of age.

DOSAGE: Instill 1 or 2 drops in each eye, 2-3 times a day. The product should not be used for more than 4 consecutive days. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In children under 12 years of age (and over 3 years of age), use the medicine only on medical advice.

STORAGE: 5 ml bottle and 8 ml bottle: store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees C; after first opening, store for a maximum of 28 days at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees C. Single-dose 0.3 ml container: no special storage precautions; after opening the aluminum pouch, the product must be consumed within 30 days.

WARNINGS: Although the product has poor systemic absorption, it should be used with caution in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, cardiac disorders, diabetes, and in patients being treated with MAOIs (tranylcypromine, phenelzine, pargillin). Infections, pus, foreign bodies in the eye, mechanical, chemical, or heat damage require medical attention. If symptoms persist or worsen after a short period of treatment, consult your doctor. Accidental ingestion may cause marked sedation in children. The formulation in single-dose containers is presented in single sterile doses, each of which contains a quantity of eye drops sufficient for application to both eyes. The single-dose packaging protects the eye drops from any contamination and ensures their sterility and stability without the need for preservatives, making them suitable for use even by contact lens wearers. Allow 5 minutes between using the eye drops and putting in your contact lenses.

INTERACTIONS: None known.

SIDE EFFECTS: Use of the product may sometimes cause pupillary dilation, increased intraocular pressure, nausea, and headache. Hypersensitivity reactions may rarely occur. Hypertension, cardiac problems, or hyperglycemia may occur only with very high doses. In these cases, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor so that, if necessary, appropriate therapy can be instituted.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING: During pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children, use only if strictly necessary, after consulting your doctor.
