Reducer Ophthalmic Solution 10 ml
Description
REDUCTOR Ophthalmic Solution – Protection and care for the irritated eye surface
REDUKTOR is an ophthalmic solution for the protection and repair of the corneal and conjunctival epithelium with a phlogolytic (anti-inflammatory) effect. It is suitable for both adults and children and is used to relieve symptoms such as burning, itching, light sensitivity (photophobia), foreign body sensation, and redness of the eyes. These symptoms often occur in connection with persistent inflammatory conditions of the ocular surface and adnexa, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, dacryocystitis, meibomitis, or dry eye syndrome. The solution is also suitable for contact lens wearers.
Areas of application
REDUKTOR is used as an adjunctive (supportive) measure, among other things, for preoperative eye care. It is used for conjunctivitis and corneal infections, as well as infections of the ocular adnexa such as the eyelid margins, tear ducts, and eyelashes. It can also be used to treat conjunctivitis, keratitis, and dacryocystitis.
Application and handling
Before use, open the bottle and remove the protective cap. Tilt your head back slightly and gently squeeze the bottle to dispense 1–2 drops into the affected eye. Carefully reseal the bottle after each use; the remaining contents can be used for up to 28 days after first opening. REDUKTOR is also suitable for use by contact lens wearers.
Ingredients
Vitamin E TPGS, dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, chlorhexidine digluconate, purified water.
Important information and precautions
REDUKTOR is intended for external use on the eye only and is designed for single-patient use. Do not use if you have a known intolerance or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use the solution if the packaging is damaged upon first opening or was not perfectly sealed, and do not exceed the expiry date printed on the packaging and bottle. To prevent contamination, avoid contact between the bottle's dispenser and the eye or other surfaces during use. If any discomfort occurs during use, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. In rare cases, microcalcifications of the cornea have been observed in patients with a history of corneal disease who were treated with phosphate-containing ophthalmic preparations; in such a case, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice. Keep out of the reach of children and do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Please read the entire package leaflet carefully before first use.
storage
Store the unopened bottle in a way that ensures the expiry date printed on the packaging and the bottle is not exceeded. Once opened, the solution can be used for up to 28 days, provided the bottle is tightly closed after each use. Do not separate the contents of the package from the outer packaging and the instructions for use, so that all important information for proper use remains readily available.
