Description
The Dr. Arabin obstetric pessary is a medical device that can be used in pregnant women with cervical insufficiency to prevent premature birth as well as in patients with conditions related to the descent of the cervix. It is inserted vaginally by an obstetrician-gynecologist as an alternative to a cerclage.
The product, with dimensions 65 mm x 21 mm x 32 mm, is made of special, delicate silicone, compatible with the body of the woman and the fetus and does not cause irritating or allergic reactions. The soft, flexible material does not put too much pressure on the cervix. The perforation used ensures air flow and at the same time reduces the risk of vaginal discharge.
