Place the baby thermometer in the mouth. Ensure the mouth is closed and the baby is breathing evenly through the nose to avoid any interference with the reading due to inhaled/exhaled air. Normal temperature ranges from 35.7°C to 37.3°C (96.3°F to 99.1°F).
The degree symbol will flash throughout the measurement process. When the flashing stops, the alarm will sound for approximately 10 seconds. The temperature will appear on the LCD screen simultaneously. The displayed temperature will not change when the thermometer is removed from the child's mouth.
To prolong battery life, press the power button to turn off the unit after completing the test. If no action is taken, the unit will automatically turn off after approximately 10 minutes.
* Note: If the measured temperature is less than 32°C or 90°F, the LCD screen will display "Lo"; if the measured temperature is higher than 42.9°C or 109.9°F, the LCD screen will display "Hi".
