Multiflora honey is obtained from summer flowers. It is very sweet and after crystallization it becomes light brown. Due to the different "mixes" of flower nectars, it has a number of different nutritional values. The simple sugars it contains are more easily absorbed by the body and are a valuable source of energy.

Multiflora honey is called honey of "thousand flowers" because it is made from various plants, both cultivated and wild. Depending on the harvest date, it can have different colors, from light cream to tea. After crystallization, it changes color slightly to light gray or light brown. Its smell is usually strong, reminiscent of wax.

The taste varies greatly depending on the composition of the nectar, but is generally mild and sweet. Sometimes the taste of a certain nectar dominates, for example lime, buckwheat or acacia. Liquid honey from spring plants is light, has a pleasant, delicate floral smell and a mild taste. However, honey derived from the nectar of summer flowers is much darker in color and has a distinct taste and smell.

It is characterized by a diverse composition. It contains large amounts of organic acids such as gluconic, malic and citric acids. Multifloral honeys often contain small amounts of wax, pollen and even honeydew from conifers, which gives them a specific taste and smell. You can also find vitamins and certain amounts of macronutrients (potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, chlorine and others). As research has shown, this honey has a high silicon content.
