Pharyndol sinus is a hypertonic glycerol solution that exerts 6 times greater osmotic pressure on the nasal passages, enriched with 4 plant tannins from green tea, blueberry and elderberry that have antiviral activity. \ \ The effectiveness of Pharyndol sinus was compared with that of a hypertonic 3% NaCl solution (control group), in 113 patients, and the results were published in the scientific journal American Journal of Pharmtech Research. Thirty minutes after the first use of Pharyndol sinus, a strong decongestant effect was observed (+32%). \ \ After the first day of treatment, it was observed that sinus reduced nasal congestion by 41%, while the hypertonic solution by 20%.
