A medical device in the form of lozenges that helps combat dry, irritating coughs by creating a physical protective layer. The lozenges act as a balm on the mucous membranes in the throat and larynx. By creating a natural mucous film, the irritated mucous membranes are protected and coated, soothing the induced cough reflex. Their soothing effect comes from natural plant extracts of Iceland moss, marshmallow root, and licorice root.
Flavor: blackcurrant.
The lozenges do not contain alcohol, lactose, gluten or sugar.

Composition

One Stilaxx cough lozenge contains 50 mg of Icelandic lichen dry extract, 50 mg of marshmallow root dry extract, 25 mg of licorice root dry extract.
Other ingredients: sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, sucralose, magnesium stearate, sorbitol, xanthan gum, flavor.

Indications

Stilaxx cough drops have a soothing effect in the case of:

• dry, irritating cough,
• cough reflex and throat irritation.

Product use

Children from 4 to 9 years old:
One Stilaxx cough lozenge twice a day

Youth from 10 to 17 years of age:
One Stilaxx cough lozenge 3-4 times a day

Adults:
One Stilaxx cough lozenge up to 6 times a day

How to use a medical device

It is recommended to suck Stilaxx cough lozenges at least 2 hours apart. Suck the lozenges slowly until they are completely dissolved.
Do not suck lozenges while lying down, for example, while falling asleep, as there is a risk of choking. Stilaxx cough lozenges should not be chewed or swallowed whole.

Contraindications and precautions

Before use, please read the instructions for use or the label.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product's ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged.
Use within 4 weeks of first opening the package.

Possible side effects of a medical device

Sensitive individuals may rarely experience gastrointestinal symptoms, such as mild flatulence. Due to the sweetener sorbitol, taking excessive amounts may cause a laxative effect.

Comments

Stilaxx cough lozenges contain high-quality plant extracts. Due to these extracts, the white lozenges may occasionally contain small, colored particles. However, this does not affect the high quality and effectiveness of the lozenges.
