Active ingredients

100 ml contain 13.91 g of anhydrous monobasic sodium phosphate (NaH2PO4); 3.18 g of anhydrous dibasic sodium phosphate (Na2HPO4). Excipient with known effect: methyl parahydroxybenzoate. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Therapeutic indications

Short-term treatment of occasional constipation.

Contraindications/Side effects

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1. Laxatives are contraindicated in subjects with acute or unknown abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, or severe dehydration.

Dosage

Dosage • Adults and adolescents: the entire dose of the bottle. Paediatric population • Children over 2 years: half or a quarter of the bottle, as advised by a doctor (133 ml). Method of administration: Do not exceed the recommended dose. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods requires a doctor's prescription after appropriate assessment of the individual case. Preferably take in the evening.
