Nupure probaflor contains 11 selected strains of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria that naturally colonize the human gut. There, they are part of the so-called gut flora. Nupure probaflor contains at least 20 billion CFU at the end of its shelf life.
Each capsule also contains 30 mg of inulin . This dietary fiber, naturally derived from chicory, is not metabolized by humans. If it reaches the intestines undigested, it can serve as food for bacteria.
The capsule shell is gastric acid resistant and reliably protects the bacteria during passage through the stomach.
