FORA safety lancets are sterile, single-use lancets for the rapid and hygienic collection of capillary blood samples.

Unlike traditional lancets, no separate lancing device is required. The safety lancet forms a ready-to-use system, thus enabling particularly easy blood sampling.

Integrated safety mechanism

Once activated, the needle is automatically retracted into the housing and cannot be used again.

This reduces the risk of accidental contact with the used needle. This makes safety lancets particularly interesting for professional settings where blood samples are regularly taken from different people.

The obtained capillary blood sample can be used for compatible FORA measuring systems.

In conjunction with the FORA 6 Connect, the following parameters, among others, can be determined using the respective test strips:

This makes the safety lancets ideally suited for screening and measurement services in pharmacies and medical facilities.

Application

Remove the protective cap according to the manufacturer's instructions. Position the safety lancet at the intended puncture site and trigger it.

After the puncture, the needle retracts into the casing. Dispose of the used safety lancet in accordance with the applicable regulations for used single-use medical devices.
