Description
IBS probiotic from Prima-Pharma is a dietary supplement in capsules that contains 5 strains of live bacterial cultures: Lactobacillus plantarum , Lactobacillus acidophilus , Bifidobacterium bifidum , Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Streptococcus thermophilus . The formula has been additionally supplemented with inulin, a polysugar derived from chicory root.
Strains of live bacterial cultures are freeze-dried and microencapsulated three times, which increases their viability. The preparation does not require storage in the refrigerator, so it can also supplement the diet with bacteria during long journeys. The formula can be successfully used by the entire family: it is safe for children over 3 years of age.
