Dietogermina is a dietary supplement based on fructooligosaccharides and Bacillus clausii spores, microorganisms useful for promoting the balance of intestinal flora. Bacillus clausii is a microorganism capable of forming spores, or metabolically "dormant" bacterial forms, that are gastroresistant and heat-resistant, allowing them to pass unharmed through the acidic environment of the stomach, germinate, and proliferate in the intestine.
