Iridium A Free is an ophthalmic solution based on sodium hyaluronate, echinacea extract, and amino acids.

Preservative-free.

Indications:

A tear substitute useful for protecting the cornea and increasing the natural defenses of the ocular surface, even in the presence of surgical or traumatic lesions.

• The product is a sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid and Echinacea extract, which aims to protect the corneal epithelium and help increase the biological defenses of the tear film by better stabilizing and preserving its properties
• Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that is part of numerous body tissues. It has the property of adhering to the mucus of the ocular surface, protecting, moistening, and lubricating it
• Due to its mucoadhesive properties, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film
• Echinacea extract contains substances that have been shown to help maintain the immune defenses of the tear film and facilitate the repair processes of the ocular surface
• Echinacea extract is also characterized by its hyaluronidase-inhibiting properties
• The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, and L-lysine Hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase ocular surface lubrication and may help improve the protection of the epithelia subjected to various types of stress
• The absence of preservatives in the solution helps increase the product's safety and makes it suitable for contact lens wearers.

Ingredients:

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Echinacea extract, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine HCl, L-leucine, Buffered isotonic solution.

How to use: 

• Instil 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times daily, or as directed by your doctor
• The product can be instilled into the eye even when wearing contact lenses, or onto the inner surface of the contact lens before insertion.

Warnings and Contraindications:

• Known hypersensitivity to the product components or other chemically related substances
• Reseal the bottle tightly after use
• To eliminate the risk of contaminating the solution, avoid contact of the dropper with the eye or other objects
• Do not use if you have an eye infection
• If administering ophthalmic solutions for therapeutic purposes, consult a doctor
• Before use, check that the product is intact
• Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the bottle
• Do not store above 25°C
• The product is for external ophthalmic use only
• Keep the preparation out of the reach of children
• No adverse effects have been reported after using the product
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor
• After applying the product, a slight and temporary blurring of vision may occur.
