Description
Libramed, thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard, acts at the intestinal level by forming a very viscous gel that helps control postprandial glycemic peaks, reducing the amount and rate of carbohydrate absorption (retard effect). This also leads to a reduction in the feeling of hunger and postprandial drowsiness. In addition, through the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard limits fat absorption, promotes intestinal transit and regulates stool consistency.
INDICATIONS:
Libramed, in combination with a balanced diet, adequate fluid intake and regular physical activity, is indicated for weight control in adults and children aged 8 years and over, due to its mechanism of action.
HOW TO USE:
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3 tablets before the two main meals
- Children aged 8 to 12 years: 2 tablets before the two main meals
The recommended dose should be taken with a full glass of water, ensuring that each tablet is swallowed separately. Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet with your teeth . In case of difficulty swallowing, you can dissolve Libramed tablets in lukewarm water or unsweetened herbal teas, stirring until completely dissolved. The resulting liquid should be consumed within a few minutes before the gel forms.
WARNINGS:
It is recommended to take the product at least two hours before or after taking medications to avoid interference with their absorption. Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
