Due to the presence of phenolic acid derivatives – cynarin, artichoke supports the proper functioning of the digestive system, especially the intestines, and facilitates digestion, having a beneficial effect in the case of digestive problems such as a feeling of fullness, bloating and nausea.

Artichokes contain cynarin —perhaps no other plant contains such a high concentration of this extremely biologically active ingredient. In addition, they are a rich source of folic acid and potassium, and also contain flavonoids, mucilages, fiber, organic acids, bitter substances, tannins, inulin, tannins, organic salts, vitamins A, B, and C, iron, magnesium, and flavones.

Digestion
