Eye drops are intended as a tear substitute . They are used to moisten the eye and for problems such as foreign body sensation, burning or dry eye.

What are Arufil eye drops?

Arufil eye drops are used for the symptomatic treatment of " dry eye " syndrome (dry conjunctivitis). The product can be used by adults, adolescents and children of all ages .

Dosage

Dosage is individual and depends on the severity and nature of the symptoms. It is recommended to apply 1 drop 4 times a day into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s). After application, it is advisable to close the eye for a short time. If more frequent application is necessary, preservative-free eye drops should be applied. The drug is intended for long-term treatment.

Warning:

• The drug can be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is not known whether the drug crosses the placenta and enters breast milk.
• Contact lenses should be removed before applying the medicine and wait at least 15 minutes after applying the medicine before reinserting them into the eyes.
• If multiple medications need to be administered, a time interval of at least 5 minutes is required between each medication.
• If an ointment is to be applied, the drops should be applied first and then the ointment.
• The medicine container should not touch the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas.
• If blurred vision occurs after instillation, it is not recommended to drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery.
• The medicine contains benzalkonium chloride.
• After first opening, the medicine can be stored at a temperature not exceeding 25°C for six weeks.
