The preparation is intended for the dietary management of functional bowel disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel diseases including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, digestive system infections, diarrhea resulting from antibiotic therapy, traveler's diarrhea, intestinal flora disorders, and acid butyric deficiencies, which occur as a result of using a low-residue diet that contains small amounts of dietary fiber.

The special coating of the tablet protects the active ingredient of the preparation against the effects of gastric juice and prevents its absorption in the small intestine. Controlled-release enteric-coated tablets allow the tablets to reach the large intestine.
