Description
Nutritionally complete, high-fat, low-carbohydrate powdered food containing a blend of oils and milk proteins (casein and whey proteins), with added amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fibre. Contains long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCP), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (AA).
Indicated for the dietary management of drug-resistant epilepsy and other pathologies in which the use of a ketogenic diet is indicated (e.g., carbohydrate metabolism disorders, pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency, glucose transporter type 1 deficiency).
It can be used for administering the ketogenic diet with LCT.

How to use
The amount of powdered milk and the dilution must be determined by the doctor and depend on the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient.
The recommended dilution is 14.2% w/v. A higher dilution may be prescribed by your doctor, depending on your individual needs.

To ensure good tolerance of this high-fat food, it is recommended to initially administer a small volume, at the lowest concentration, when starting the ketogenic diet. Ensure adequate fluid intake.

Preparation and administration
For oral and tube use:
- Measure the required amount of hot water into a sealed container with a lid. The powder should be reconstituted in hot water (45-50°C) to facilitate complete dissolution. Measure the temperature with a thermometer or mix boiling water and cold tap water in a 1:1 ratio to reach this temperature (do not use hot water straight from the tap);
- weigh the prescribed amount of powder;
- add the weighed powder to the water. Close the sterile container with the lid and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved;
- Carefully remove the lid. If desired, refrigerate and consume within 24 hours of preparation.
Shake or mix before use. Sedimentation is normal with this type of formula. If administered by enteral tube, it is recommended to rinse the tube with warm water (approximately 37°C) between doses. If administered orally, serve cold.

For enteral use only. Do not administer parenterally.
Use only under medical supervision. Use as the sole source of nutrition for children aged 1 to 10 years. Can be used as a dietary supplement for children over 10 years of age.
Monitor for hypoglycemia, kidney stones, hyperlipidemia, and appropriate growth.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.
Close the jar again after use.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 1 month.
