Correct use of the boso medicus prestige blood pressure monitor
Apply the cuff correctly
To accurately measure blood pressure with the boso medicus prestige, attach the cuff to your bare upper arm. Ensure the marking on the cuff is positioned over the upper arm artery. Tighten the cuff so that you can fit one or two fingers between it and your arm. It is important that the cuff is at heart level.
Tips for measuring blood pressure
For optimal results, sit comfortably and relax for five minutes before you begin. Avoid movement during the measurement. First, measure your blood pressure on both arms, then focus on the arm with the higher reading. Refrain from nicotine and caffeine for one hour before taking your blood pressure. Leave at least two minutes between measurements.
