For measuring temperature from the eardrum.

How to use a medical device

1. Remove the protective cap from the thermometer probe.
2. Turn on the device by pressing the power button.
3. Gently pull your earlobe back and up to straighten your ear canal.
4. Carefully insert the probe into your ear, aiming it towards the eardrum.
5. Briefly press the measurement button.
6. Wait 1 second – the end of the test will be signaled by a long beep.
7. Check the value displayed on the screen. The device has an intelligent notification system:

• Normal temperature: One long beep.
• Fever indication: If the temperature exceeds 37.6°C (99.7°F), the device will emit one long beep followed by 3 short beeps and the display will illuminate orange.

Contraindications and precautions

This device should not be used on patients who have ear diseases such as otitis externa or otitis media.
Never use the device on patients whose ear canals are not yet fully developed.
Do not use the device on patients with injuries or those taking medications that affect skin temperature.
