Action: Mandelic acid belongs to the group of alpha hydroxy acids, it has brightening, exfoliating, moisturizing and smoothing properties. Stimulates the epidermis renewal process. The wide use of mandelic acid is related to its structural similarity to antibiotics, and by lowering the pH of the skin it provides effective protection against the development of microorganisms. Effectively reduces acne lesions, normalizes and soothes sebum secretion processes. It has a very strong antibacterial effect and limits the growth of bacteria that cause inflammation. Moreover, it narrows the enlarged openings of the sebaceous glands, lightens post-inflammatory acne scars, and effectively fights against the reduction of shallow and superficial discolorations.
