Debutir Forte is a food for special medical purposes in capsule form, containing sodium salt and butyric acid. It supports the nutritional process for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.

Butyric acid is the primary energy source for the intestinal epithelium. The use of modern granulation technology for sodium salt of butyric acid in Debutir Forte, unlike standard forms of sodium butyrate, prevents it from being completely utilized in the upper gastrointestinal tract.

The composition is designed to ensure gradual release of sodium butyrate along the entire length of the gastrointestinal tract, particularly in the later sections.

Indications: 

It should be used for dietary management of conditions such as

• functional bowel diseases, such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, abdominal pain, abdominal distension
• acute diarrhea of ​​various origins
• inflammatory bowel disease
• diverticulitis
• colitis following radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy
• conditions following gastrointestinal surgery
• disorders of the intestinal microbiota composition, including those during antibiotic therapy
• nutritional deficiencies (insufficient dietary fiber intake, low-fiber diet).

Ingredients:

• Sodium butyrate, fully hydrogenated palm oil, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, thickener: sodium alginate, capsule opacifier (calcium carbonate color, zinc oxide, starch, malodextrin, gum arabic stabilizer), emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, gelling agents: carrageenan, potassium chloride

• 2 capsules contain: energy value 28.12 kJ/6.82 kcal, fat 0.58 g, including saturated fatty acids 0.58 g, carbohydrates 0.22 g, including sugars 0 g, fiber 0.32 g, protein 0 g, salt 0.28 g, including sodium 0.12 g, sodium butyrate 600 mg, including butyric acid 480 mg.

How to use: 

• Capsules should be swallowed whole (without chewing or spilling the contents)
• Take with 3/4 cup of lukewarm or cool water. It is best to take them with meals
• Adults: 1 capsule twice daily, morning and evening. Recommended use for at least 3 months
• Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily, preferably in the evening. Use for approximately 6 weeks.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in children with swallowing disorders or in cases where swallowing capsules is difficult
• Allergy to any of the ingredients
• Do not use in individuals who do not have a specific disease, health disorder, or condition affected by the intended use.
