Manti ® Complex is a medical device with a physical mechanism of action, intended to relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux , such as heartburn, nocturnal reflux, burning sensations, and laryngitis. It comes in the form of chewable mint tablets. It is suitable for children over 12 years of age and adults.
How does Manti ® Complex work?

Manti ® Complex works through a physical mechanism, providing effective and immediate protection against reflux. In the stomach, sodium alginate – a natural substance derived from brown algae – forms a thick gel upon contact with the acidic environment. The carbonates in the product release carbon dioxide, which lifts the gel upward, creating a "raft" that prevents stomach contents from flowing back into the esophagus.
Additionally:
- Bicarbonate reduces the amount of hydrochloric acid, alleviating the symptoms of hyperacidity.
- Sodium hyaluronate moisturizes and supports the regeneration of the mucous membrane.
- The barrier “raft” protects the esophagus from the irritating effects of digestive juices.
