What is META-CARE® Selenium?
A nutrient complex of selenium and nutrient-rich barley grass powder. Selenium is an essential component of numerous enzymes and proteins that cannot perform their functions in the body without this trace element. One of selenium's most important functions is supporting the body's own cellular defenses. A vegetarian or vegan diet, physical exertion, and aging can lead to an increased need for selenium that cannot be adequately met through daily nutrition. In such cases, taking selenium as a dietary supplement can be beneficial. META-CARE® Selenium contains sodium selenate, which is absorbed particularly quickly by the body. Selenomethionine is released over time. The formula is ideally complemented with high-quality barley grass powder.
