Turmeric extract

Curcumin is the main component of turmeric, a plant many know as an ingredient in curry powder. Curcumin gives curry its characteristic yellow color. Turmeric, also known as yellow root, yellow ginger, or saffron root, has been used in Ayurveda for 4,000 years and is revered as a sacred plant. Only the root of the Curcuma longa plant is used. To unlock the full potential of turmeric, our turmeric extract is enriched with black Bioperine® (black pepper extract), which significantly increases its bioavailability. Turmeric contains up to 5% essential oils. This plant has many health-promoting properties that extend beyond its use as a spice or coloring agent.

Vitabay consciously avoids unwanted additives such as flavorings or preservatives and has each production batch individually tested. The raw materials are carefully selected and gently processed in an HACCP-certified facility in Germany. Our dietary supplement is purely plant-based and therefore also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Properties of the dietary supplement:

• Standardized to 95% curcuminoids - 500 mg
• Equivalent to approximately 25,000 mg of turmeric: Regular turmeric powder contains only 2% curcuminoids. Our 95% turmeric extract is obtained through a gentle extraction process (50:1 ratio). One capsule containing 475 mg of curcuminoids contains the extract from approximately 25,000 mg of regular turmeric powder.
