Description
Sterile isotonic ophthalmic ointment based on 0.4% sodium hyaluronate. This medical device helps maintain hydration and protect the ocular surface by creating a protective film.
The viscous nature of KORNEAKER allows for prolonged adhesion to the ocular surface, so that it can carry out its moisturizing and protective action even during the night.
Indicated for the relief of symptoms of dry eye and lagophthalmos. The ointment formula promotes permanence on the ocular surface, and sodium hyaluronate forms a protective shield on the corneal surface, providing protection and hydration. Sodium hyaluronate spreads over the corneal surface, forming a structure capable of capturing water molecules. Thanks to this property, it moisturizes and protects the ocular surface.
KORNEAKER improves the hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface in cases of dryness, burning or tired eyes. KORNEAKER protects the corneal surface and slows the evaporation of the tear film in patients with nocturnal lagophthalmos, providing relief from typical symptoms such as dryness, burning and foreign body sensation.

How to use
Wash your hands before using the product.
Remove the protective cover.
Before first use: gently squeeze the tube and discard the first amount of product, which may appear watery.
Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to form a pocket.
Apply gentle pressure to the tube and apply a thin layer of eye ointment to the space between the eye and eyelid. Close the eye and blink gently.
Additional daily doses may be administered as recommended by your doctor.
Avoid letting the tip of the tube touch your eye, eyelids, fingers or any other surface.
Close the lid tightly after use.

Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components.
After application, you may feel a transient foreign body sensation. It may be helpful to blink gently or close your eyes for a few seconds.
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged.
Do not use the product after the expiration date.
Do not ingest.
Do not share with other people.
The viscous nature of the product may cause temporary blurred vision. Do not drive or use tools or machines until your vision is clear.
Remove contact lenses before using the ointment, otherwise the surface of the lenses may be damaged.
If you are using other eye drops or ointments at the same time, wait about fifteen minutes between applications. It is recommended to use KORNEAKER last.
The product is normally intended for use for a maximum of seven consecutive days; for prolonged use, consult and follow your doctor's recommendations.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
If eye irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
If you experience any adverse reactions or unusual sensations after using this product, contact a healthcare professional and report the information to your local distributor or manufacturer.
The product is intended for adults and children over 12 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this product.
Do not use the product if you notice changes in appearance after first opening.

Conservation
Store away from direct heat sources, in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 9 and 25°C.
Shelf life after opening: 8 weeks.
