Cooling application
To use the compress as a cold pack, place it in the freezer for approximately two hours at a temperature as low as -18°C. Wrap the compress in a thin cloth before applying it to the skin.
Warming application
To use as a hot compress, heat it for about six minutes in hot water that reaches up to 80°C. Again, the compress should be wrapped in a thin cloth before contact with the skin.
