APTEO Simethicone Max 240 mg - relieves flatulence and the feeling of fullness

The Simethicone MAX medical device is intended for use to relieve the feeling of fullness, bloating, belching, and symptoms associated with excessive accumulation of gas and air in the digestive tract, which cause tension and pressure in the intestines.

Simethicone MAX is intended for use:

• as an aid in preparing patients for abdominal diagnostic tests (ultrasound, endoscopy, radiography and colonoscopy),
• to remove gases and air from the digestive tract, which improves the quality of the images obtained.

Dosage and method of use:

Simethicone MAX capsules are taken orally before or after a meal, with a sufficient amount of fluid (e.g., 1 glass of water). Drinking carbonated beverages is not recommended while taking this medication.

Symptoms related to tension and pressure in the intestines:
Adults : as needed, 1 capsule 2-4 times daily. Maximum 4 capsules daily (960 mg simethicone).
Children over 12 years of age : as needed, 1 capsule daily.

Preparation for diagnostic tests:
Adults and children over 12 years of age : 1 capsule in the evening on the day before the diagnostic test and 1 capsule in the morning, on an empty stomach, on the day of the diagnostic test.

The product can be used by people with diabetes and people with sugar digestion disorders.
Use of this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding requires consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. Due to the nature of simethicone and its lack of absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, no harmful effects are expected from using this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
