Rigel flower ointment 50 ml
Description
Calendula ointment with calendula and witch hazel
Even the abbess Hildegard von Bingen, who lived in the 12th century, knew about the healing properties of calendula. She mentions it under the name "Ringula" for the treatment of digestive problems and eczema. The properties attributed to calendula are manifold. In naturopathy, the dried whole or crushed flower heads and the dried ray florets are used. These are used to make teas, aqueous extracts, tinctures, extracts, and ointments.
Preparations intended for external use are recommended for skin inflammations, wound healing, bruises, boils, and rashes. Preparations suitable for internal use are used for stomach and intestinal ulcers and menstrual cramps.
Witch hazel, also known as hamamelis, is frequently used in naturopathy. Preparations made from it have hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, and itch-relieving properties. They are used for minor skin injuries, local inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, hemorrhoids, and varicose veins. In folk medicine, it is also used internally for diarrheal diseases.
Calendula ointment
Calendula ointment is used for the care of dry, low-fat, flaky, and sensitive skin. It is ideal for keeping stressed areas of skin, such as the hands and feet, supple. Furthermore, the formula with calendula and witch hazel soothes the skin after strong sun exposure or insect bites.
The ointment can be applied several times a day as needed. It is free of parabens, perfume, and dyes.
