Nasodren removes secretions and cleanses the nose and paranasal sinuses, providing rapid relief from the symptoms of sinusitis. After application, the patient experiences an enhanced elimination of mucus accumulated in the nose and sinuses, a process that can last up to two hours. As a result, the headache and/or congestion that usually accompany sinusitis quickly disappear.

Directions

Indicated for the local relief of rhinitis symptoms (sensation of nasal congestion), including:

Accumulated nasal mucus.
Loss of sense of smell.
Headache and/or facial pain.
Sensation of blocked ears.

Instructions for use:

Open the powder container by turning the cap counterclockwise and remove it.
Open the plastic vial containing the liquid by breaking off the top.
Pour the contents of the ampoule into the powder container.
Screw the spray pump onto the container and shake gently until the powder dissolves completely.
Wait until the foam disappears completely. Remove the protective cap of the spray pump.
Before first use, perform 2 or 3 test sprays, pointing the nozzle upwards and away from the eyes.
Keep your head upright; avoid tilting it forward or backward.
Insert the spray nozzle into your right nostril.
Hold your breath for 3 to 5 seconds and spray the solution into your right nostril by pressing the pump once.
Exhale deeply through your mouth, then breathe normally.
Do not inhale the spray solution. Repeat the procedure by inserting the nozzle into the left nostril.
When finished, clean the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap.
To be used exclusively as a nasal spray.
Use once a day in each nostril, preferably at the same time, but no later than 2 hours before bedtime.
Taking a higher dose than recommended will not increase effectiveness.
Treatment usually lasts 7 to 10 days, but can be extended to 14 days if necessary. Significant improvement or complete disappearance of symptoms usually occurs after 6-8 doses. After 3 to 5 doses, headaches and/or facial pain – often associated with rhinitis – usually decrease or disappear completely. Even if headaches and other symptoms of rhinitis improve, treatment should be continued for the recommended duration of 7-10 days. Consult a doctor in case of complications involving purulent infections. If additional treatment for acute or chronic conditions is necessary, it can be started 7-10 days after the completion of the first course.

Lyophilized powder obtained from a natural extract from fresh bulbs of *Cyclamen europaeum* L. (alpine variety).

Contraindications

Do not use if the patient is allergic (hypersensitive) to violets, cowslips or other plant species, due to the risk of swelling (edema) of the nasal mucosa, eyelids or face.
Consult your doctor before using the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not use in children under 6 years of age. It is not recommended to drive or use machinery for the first two hours after applying the product.

Important information:

Before using the spray, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are currently taking or have recently taken, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Other products applied to the nostrils can be used 1.5 – 2 hours after applying the spray.
It does not contain artificial colors or preservatives.
After preparation, store in a refrigerator (2–8°C) for a maximum of 16 days.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Warnings:

Overdose of the preparation may cause a strong burning sensation in the nasopharyngeal cavity, although without serious consequences for the patient.
In case of accidental overdose, rinsing the nasal cavity and throat with warm water may be helpful.
Apply one dose daily in each nostril.
Avoid inhaling the spray during application.
Avoid contact with eyes, as the preparation may cause irritation or symptoms of acute conjunctivitis.
