Solgar Bromelain 1000 GDU is a dietary supplement containing bromelain from fresh pineapple.
Bromelain is a digestive (proteolytic) enzyme belonging to the group of hydrolases that supports the digestion of dietary proteins. The highest concentration of this enzyme occurs in the stem of a ripe pineapple. A special process for obtaining bromelain allows it to keep its enzymatic properties intact. Solgar Bromelain dietary supplement is a kosher product that meets the strict dietary standards of traditional Jewish law.
