Areas of application:

Hygienic hand disinfection; cold compresses. Contraindications: Alcohol 70% (V/V). Hetterich is not suitable for disinfecting large, open wounds.




Notes:

Highly flammable! Keep away from sources of ignition!
In case of a spill, immediate measures must be taken to prevent fire and explosion. Suitable measures include, for example, absorbing the spilled liquid and diluting it with water, ventilating the room, and removing any ignition sources.



Application:

For hygienic hand disinfection, the hands are rubbed with the solution and kept moist with the solution for 1 minute.

For cold compresses, the solution should be diluted with equal parts water.
Note: The stated time is a minimum time. Depending on additional complications (e.g., moist skin, skin contamination, risk of the procedure), the application times may need to be extended.
Alcohol 70% (V/V) Hetterich does not have a sporicidal effect and is therefore not suitable for storing sterile instruments and syringes.
