Description
The innovative product Felurit stimulates cats to drink through a combination of sodium and an appropriate amount of potassium, thus flushing the kidneys without any diuretics. Consequently, Felurit ensures that the cat remains hydrated and does not become dehydrated. The cranberry concentrate it contains stabilizes the urine pH by slightly acidifying it, making the complete absence of methionine unnecessary. By omitting methionine, the risk of urine acidification is reduced, thereby lowering the risk of kidney stones. Methionine can cause changes in red blood cells in cats and should therefore not be given in high doses if the cat has existing kidney, liver, or pancreatic problems.
Application
It is recommended to feed the product for at least 8 weeks – and if necessary, for a longer period: this should be decided individually based on the animal's reaction.
