What properties does milk thistle have?
Milk thistle (in Latin: Sylibum marianum ) is a plant in the Asteraceae family. Milk thistle is traditionally used to support liver health. It helps to maintain the correct digestion and the physiological functions of cleansing the liver.
Ground thistle fruits can be consumed immediately before meals with water. They can also be used as an addition to selected dishes or as a decoction. Milk thistle fruits are naturally rich in dietary fiber. The fiber content in 100 g of the product is over 40 g. In addition, it is also a valuable source of protein - over 17 g per 100 g of ground, defatted fruit.
