Mannodis Gastro is a food supplement that is a source of glucomannan - water-soluble fiber derived from the tuber of Amorphophallus konjac. Glucomannan strongly absorbs water, so that after consumption it increases in volume as it passes through the digestive system. This ingredient, depending on the amount consumed, has various health-promoting properties:
- helps to maintain the normal level of cholesterol in the blood, if 4 g is consumed per day,
- As part of a low-calorie diet, it helps with weight loss if 3 g is consumed per day.
To achieve a beneficial weight loss effect, glucomannan should be consumed before meals, as part of a low-calorie diet, in three portions (1 g each), washed down with one or two glasses of water.
