- Celtic salt is also known as gray salt, due to its color that differentiates it from other types of salt such as Himalayan or regular sea salt. Celtic salt is a sea salt that is extracted from the Atlantic Ocean in France
- It is extracted by the Celtic method, that is, it is used for extracting and drying exclusively wooden tools, without metal. The salt is naturally dried in the sun. Being an unrefined salt, we find in it all 84 trace elements present in sea water and in our body.
- The gray and wet appearance makes it hard to confuse with other types of salt.
