N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a highly biologically active form of L-cysteine. Each capsule of this dietary supplement contains 150 mg of the amino acid derivative.
Cysteine is an organic chemical compound from the group of endogenous protein amino acids. Together with homocysteine and methionine, it forms a group of sulfur-containing amino acids. The acetyl derivative of cysteine, NAC, is a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione, which is concentrated primarily in the liver.
A package containing 90 capsules allows for daily supplementation with the active ingredients of the preparation for 3 months.
