Description

Skinsept™ G

Skinsept™ G is a solution for application to the skin.

It is used as a preoperative skin antiseptic as well as for use before injections, punctures, vaccinations and blood draws.

Safe skin disinfection in all areas of the clinic and practice:

Broad spectrum of activity: bactericidal (incl. TB), also yeasticidal.
Colored with approved, water-soluble pharmaceutical dyes. Good marking of the surgical field. Good washability from textiles and surfaces.
Iodine-free: Also suitable for patients with iodine allergy.

Areas of application: Ready-to-use solution for skin antisepsis during surgery, injections, punctures, blood draws and vaccinations.

Composition: 100 g of Skinsept™ G solution contains: Active ingredients: 46 g ethanol (96% MEK denatured), 27 g 2-propanol. Other ingredients: Hydrogen peroxide solution 30%, povidone, Ponceau 4R (E 124), Sunset Yellow FCF (E 110), purified water. Indications: Ready-to-use solution for skin antisepsis before surgery, injections, punctures, blood draws, and vaccinations. Contraindications: Skinsept™ G must not be used if you are allergic to the active ingredients ethanol (96%), 2-propanol, or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product. Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes. Not suitable for the antisepsis of mucous membranes. Side effects: Skin contact reactions may occur (frequency unknown). Warnings: Highly flammable. Do not spray on a flame. Flash point (according to DIN 51755): 21 °C. Allow the product to dry before using electrical devices, especially electrocautery. Use caution on alcohol-sensitive surfaces. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water (including under the eyelids) for at least 15 minutes. Check for contact lenses and remove them if present. Seek medical attention if the adverse health effects persist or are severe. Use in infants should only be under medical supervision.}
