GC MI Paste Plus: Toothpaste for remineralization

GC MI Paste Plus is a topical toothpaste specifically formulated for use by or under the supervision of dental professionals. This oral care product combines bioavailable calcium and phosphate with fluoride protection, utilizing Recaldent™ technology derived from casein phosphopeptide, a milk protein derivative.

Applications and benefits

This special paste supports the remineralization of teeth and enhances the effect of fluoride. It is particularly helpful for people who need additional dental protection due to the following factors:

• Increased susceptibility to tooth decay
• Medical history
• Acidic oral flora
• Erosive damage or reflux
• Inadequate plaque control

How it works

The CPP-ACP molecule contained in the cream adheres to biofilms, plaque, and bacteria, promoting remineralization by preventing further demineralization of the enamel. Simultaneously, it seals open dentinal tubules, reducing tooth sensitivity and protecting against cavities.

Formulation and effect

MI Paste Plus releases the three essential ions for fluorapatite formation and optimizes their transport and absorption into tooth enamel. The paste's pleasant taste also stimulates saliva flow, further enhancing its effectiveness.

Key features

• Protects against tooth decay
• Removes demineralized areas
• Buffering pH fluctuations in plaque
• It inhibits the growth of S. mutans and other bacteria.
• Supports the strengthening of incipient enamel lesions

Use by dental professionals or under their supervision is recommended for the indicated purposes.
