The main ingredient in SmectaGo® is diosmectite. Diosmectite is a natural clay that helps stop and treat diarrhea, as well as relieve stomach pain.

Diosmectite has been shown to: bind to toxins and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses) and promote their elimination from the body; thanks to its natural enveloping properties, it protects the digestive tract and promotes the regeneration of damaged tissue.

The efficacy of diosmectite has been confirmed in clinical trials.

The treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 8 years of age. In children with acute diarrhea, an oral rehydration solution (ORS) must be administered simultaneously.

Treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults.

Directions for use:

This ready-to-use product is for oral administration.

The contents can be taken directly from the sachet.

Before opening, gently squeeze the sachet.
Once opened, each sachet should only be used once.
Dosage:

Acute diarrhea:

Children (8 to 15 years inclusive): The initial dose is 2 sachets, followed by 1 sachet after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 4 sachets per day. An oral rehydration solution (ORS) should be used to replace fluids lost due to diarrhea and prevent dehydration.

Adults and children over 15 years: The initial dose is 2 sachets, followed by 1 sachet after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 sachets per day. SmectaGo® can be used for up to 3 days. If diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.

Chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain:

Adults (only): Up to 3 sachets per day. Without consulting a doctor, treatment should not last longer than 2 weeks. Prolonged or repeated use of SmectaGo® is not recommended.

Do not use if you are allergic to diosmectite or any of the other ingredients in this product, in children under 8 years of age with acute diarrhea, or in children with chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain.
