VitA-POS

Description
CE medical device, class IIa, based on vitamin A. Sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic ointment with vitamin A. Due to its unique composition, it is easily applied to the ocular surface. VitA-POS protects the ocular surface and stabilizes the tear film. The vitamin A it contains is a natural constituent of the tear film, promoting good tolerability of the ophthalmic ointment and ensuring complete mixing with tears. It relieves the sensation of burning, dryness or tired eyes. Finally, it facilitates the gliding of the eyelids over the corneal and conjunctival surfaces.

How to use
Ophthalmic ointments should be used without contact between the dispensing nozzle and the eyes or skin. Unscrew the cap covering the dispensing nozzle. The cap is sealed with a white ring that ensures the integrity of the tube before first use and therefore guarantees its safety. Use VitA-POS only if the sealing ring on the tube is intact before first use. When first opened, the cap is separated from the white sealing ring. Please remove the sealing ring from the tube before first application of the ointment. Tilt your head slightly back, slightly lower your lower eyelid and, by gently pressing the tube, spread a thin line of ointment into the conjunctival sac. Slowly close your eyelids. Carefully close the tube after use. The frequency of use depends on your personal habits and needs. VitA-POS can be used in addition to lubricating eye drops and is generally applied once a day, in the evening, before going to bed. For more frequent use of VitA-POS, consult your doctor. There are no limits on the duration of treatment.

warnings
VitA-POS should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product. Use of the product during the day may cause slight visual impairment due to the oily consistency of the ointment. Therefore, in these cases, driving a vehicle, using machinery or working without a stable base should be avoided.
VitA-POS should not be used while wearing contact lenses. VitA-POS should not be used simultaneously with other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. In these cases, VitA-POS should be used at least 30 minutes after applying other medications to the eye. To administer the ointment, apply gentle pressure to the tube, without bending or twisting it. Based on current research, VitA-POS can also be used in children, pregnant women or breastfeeding women. Use one VitA-POS sachet per patient. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use VitA-POS after the expiration date.

Conservation
Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 6 months.
