Nutilis, 300 g, Nutricia

Nutilis is a powder used as a food and liquid thickener for the dysphagia diet regimen.

• Packaged in a protective atmosphere
• Enteral administration
• It should be used under medical supervision
• Not recommended as a sole source of nutrition
• Not recommended for children under 3 years of age
• It should only be used as a thickener in foods and liquids
• It is not recommended for patients with galactosemia
• It is not administered parenterally.

Ingredients:

Maltodextrin, thickeners (modified starch (corn), tara gum, xanthan gum, guar gum).

• Protein (0 En%): 0.26 g
• Carbohydrates (97 En%): 87.5 g – of which sugars: 1.5 g
• Lactose: <0.060 g
• Fats (0 En%): 0.10 g – of which saturated fats: 0.10 g
• Fiber (3 En%): 5.8 g
• Salt <0.20 g, Na<91 mg, K<75 mg, Cl<35 mg, Ca<21 mg, P<17 mg, PO4<52 mg, Mg<3.5 mg.

Mode of administration:

• It can be added to cold or hot drinks, nutritional supplements, soups and purees
• The taste of food and drinks does not change
• Food to which Nutilis has been added can be heated, cooled or frozen without changes in consistency
• Keep the box closed in a cool, dry place
• Do not refrigerate
• Use only the measurement provided in the box.
• Wash your hands and use clean utensils; make sure the top of the box is clean
• Add the prescribed amount of powder to liquids or food and mix well with a mixer, whisk or fork
• Then let it rest for a few minutes to achieve the desired consistency.
• Do not add additional powder during the standing time as the liquid will continue to thicken
• Prepare food to be served and consume within 2 hours
• Always remove unused excess
• To help with safer swallowing, Nutilis has the characteristics of resistant amylase, thus helping to protect against the action of amylase in the mouth. As a result, foods and/or liquids thickened with Nutilis retain their consistency better in the mouth.

Storage:

• The unopened box, packed in a protective atmosphere, should be kept tightly sealed in a dry and cool place (do not refrigerate)
• Once the box is opened, keep it closed in a cool dry place (do not refrigerate) and consume within 2 months
• Use only the measure provided in the box (1 measure = 4 g)
