Sodium bicarbonate solution is a medication for external use. It has a mild anti-inflammatory effect. It is used for rinsing and washing mucous membranes. It can also be used as a compress for skin inflammation.
Composition
Sodium bicarbonate (Natrii hydrogenocarbonas) – 50 grams.
Dosage
The medicine should be used as described on the packaging.
Sodium bicarbonate is used externally in the form of compresses or for washing the skin and mucous membranes.
The solution is prepared by dissolving 5 to 20 grams (1-4 teaspoons) in half a liter of water.
Indications
Use for rinsing and washing mucous membranes or for compresses in inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium bicarbonate.
